Mark B. Bullman
Mark B. Bullman attended the University of Georgia where he received his undergraduate degree and his juris doctorate. He graduated Phi Beta Kappa and with highest honors. He has been a practicing trial attorney for the past eighteen years in state and federal courts of Georgia and is a member of the bar of the United States Supreme Court. His law practice specializes in the representation of victims and injured parties, business fraud cases, civil rights cases and complex business disputes and litigation. Mr. Bullman has received Martindale Hubbell law directory's highest rating of A/V from his colleagues and courts.
Mr. Bullman worked in Washington, D.C. for United States Senator Sam Nunn where he worked on various judicial and crime related legislation, as well as reviewed and investigated nominees for the United States Supreme Court.
He is a former Athens Police Department officer and Clarke County Deputy Sheriff. As a police officer, he was a road and traffic officer and crime prevention supervisor. While crime prevention supervisor, he worked on various school and court-ordered drug awareness and prevention programs for children, teens, and parents, as well as taught self-defense courses for women, assisted with community relations and charitable programs.
Mr. Bullman is the president and a board member of the Crime Victims Advocacy Council (CVAC), a non-profit organization which: lobbies for crime victim legislation and presents testimony to legislative bodies in support of related legislation; administers a scholarship program for victims and/or surviving family members; holds an annual memorial service for crime victims across Georgia; provides crime prevention education for children and the elderly, support groups for crime victims and referrals to other victim resources; works closely with prosecutors' offices and law enforcement officials in support of victims throughout the criminal justice system; and, partners with other victim advocates and agencies to help provide an expansive support system for victims.
He is a lecturer on various topics in the legal field and has been featured in both local and national print mediums and television news programs regarding various cases.
Mark is active in his community and church and enjoys scuba diving, fly fishing, sky diving and other outdoor activities.
