David S. Currie
David Currie is an instrument-rated private pilot, motorcyclist, and a veteran of the United States Army Special Forces (1969-1972). He is the father of four sons. Mr. Currie received his undergraduate education at the University of Georgia and Georgia State University and his law school education at the University of Georgia. In law school, he was awarded the Order of Barristers for excellence in courtroom advocacy and was the winner of the Richard Russell Moot Court Competition.
He is a member of the State Bar of Georgia, the Florida Bar, the Association of Trial Lawyers of America, the Georgia Trial Lawyers Association, and the Atlanta Bar Association. He has earned the top "AV" rating from the Martindale-Hubbell Law Directory.
Mr. Currie has practiced law since 1978 in the state and federal courts of Georgia (and Florida) in the area of business litigation. He has successfully tried and negotiated the settlement of breach of contract claims, business disputes, garnishments, interference with business relations, and insurance coverage issues for over 30 years and has been lead counsel in over 150 jury trials.
