David Currie
David Currie is an instrument-rated private pilot, motorcyclist, and a
veteran of the United States Army Special Forces (1969 - 1972). He has had extensive medical training and
experience as an A-Team medic in the 7th Special Forces Group, a Respiratory Therapist at Grady Memorial
Hospital and West Paces Ferry Hospital, and an emergency room Physician's Assistant at Grady. He is the father
of four sons. Mr. Currie received his undergraduate education at the University of Georgia and Georgia State
University and his law school education at the University of Georgia. In law school, he was awarded the Order
of Barristers for excellence in courtroom advocacy and was the winner of the Richard Russell Moot Court
Competition.
He is a member of the State Bar of Georgia, the Florida Bar, the Association of Trial Lawyers of America, the
Georgia Trial Lawyers Association, and the Atlanta Bar Association. He has earned the top "AV" rating from the
Martindale-Hubbell Law Directory. Mr. Currie is a Georgia Injury Attorney. He has practiced law since 1978 in
the state and federal courts of Georgia (and Florida) in the areas of personal injury (including catastrophic
injury: paraplegia, quadriplegia, nerve injury, back injury, spinal injury and traumatic brain damage), wrongful
death, motor vehicle/truck accidents, products liability, premises liability, and industrial injuries.
